OPERATION 10,000

In Australia, drowning remains one of the leading causes of preventable death in children.

SWIM KIDS Operation 10,000 is a joint fundraising initiative of UNCLE TOBYS and Royal Life Saving Society – Australia. The core focus of the program is to raise awareness about the importance of water safety and to fund free swimming and water safety courses for children who would otherwise miss out.

Joseph is 7 and lives in regional Australia with his Dad. He is just one of the less fortunate children that has not had access to swimming lessons. Nominated by Royal Life Saving Society – Australia, Joseph received a term of swimming and water safety lessons through Royal Life Saving’s Swim and Survive program. Watch how his story highlights the importance of swimming and water safety education for all Australian children.
